Supplying bird records for the Bird Report and Archive

We would like to encourage everyone to submit their Cumbrian bird records as these are vital for conservation. Records can be submitted at any time and preferably by the end of January for records from the previous year. They can be submitted either electronically or on record cards, which are available from the Regional Recorders (see below).

To submit records electronically you can download the CBC records spreadsheet  Full instructions and examples are on the spreadsheet. For any queries on the use of the spreadsheet such as conversion of data you already store electronically please contact the archivist Dave Shackleton at Dave.Shack@care4free.net or tel: 01931 713693 but please note that the spreadsheets themselves should be sent to the appropriate Regional Recorder.
