  • 18 October, 2017: 134 Red Throated Divers drifted out with tide at MAryport
  • 17 October, 2017: 3 Leach's Petrels passed Hodbarrow sea wall this morning . Also Ruff & Woodsandpiper reported at Port Haverigg
  • 17 October, 2017: At least 8 Little Stints on north side of Rockliffe MArsh
  • 17 October, 2017: 2 Leech's Petrels passed Workington noon- 12.30 also 2 at Bowness on Solway and 5 at Walney NR
  • 12 October, 2017: 13 Ruff Anthorn/Whitrigg and 15 Redwings at Bowness Pits
  • 8 October, 2017: Now 5 Little Stint at Foulshaw Marsh ( unusual number here ) and also 12 Ruff.

  • 15 September, 2017: Pinkfoot movements now more widespread .
  • 14 September, 2017: Pinkfeet moving south over Binsey and Wigton this morning
  • 9 September, 2017: Marsh Harrier still at Wedholme Flow also single Whooper Swan, 3 Pinkfooted Geese and 20 Common Snipe
  • 6 September, 2017: Osprey still on Solway at RSPB Campfield
  • 5 September, 2017: Osprey - from RSPB Campfield - also another bird in off sea at Workington, soared and continued south
  • 5 September, 2017: Pectoral Sandpiper Wedholme Flow also 2nd year male Marsh Harrier - still present 6/9/17 also Green Sandpiper
  • 1 September, 2017: Little Stint Port Carlisle
  • 31 August, 2017: 5 Avocet at Port Carlisle also F/Juv Marsh Harrier west of Bowness
