  • 9 September, 2017: Marsh Harrier still at Wedholme Flow also single Whooper Swan, 3 Pinkfooted Geese and 20 Common Snipe
  • 6 September, 2017: Osprey still on Solway at RSPB Campfield
  • 5 September, 2017: Osprey - from RSPB Campfield - also another bird in off sea at Workington, soared and continued south
  • 5 September, 2017: Pectoral Sandpiper Wedholme Flow also 2nd year male Marsh Harrier - still present 6/9/17 also Green Sandpiper
  • 1 September, 2017: Little Stint Port Carlisle
  • 31 August, 2017: 5 Avocet at Port Carlisle also F/Juv Marsh Harrier west of Bowness
  • 26 August, 2017: f Marsh Harrier flew south east Thacka Beck NR , Penrith early a.m.
  • 24 August, 2017: Curlew Sand Piper and Little Stint Bowness on Solway

  • 8 August, 2017: White Wagtail - mouth of R Bela, Milnethorpe

  • 25 July, 2017: Male Marsh Harrier - mouth of R Bela Milnethorpe also 3 Common Sandpiper there also 27/7/17
  • 23 July, 2017: 9 Mediterranean Gulls at Workington and 18 on shore at Siddick on 24th July
  • 23 July, 2017: 1800 Sandwich terns at RSPB Hodbarrow plus total of 700 at sites up coast to Siddick
  • 18 July, 2017: Mediterranean Gull - 8 at Workington
  • 17 July, 2017: Juv Black Guillemot at Workington
  • 17 July, 2017: 26 Common Sandpipers at Port Carlisle but just 12 by 23rd
  • 9 July, 2017: Green Sandpiper R Eden Wetheral
  • 8 July, 2017: 13 Common Sandpiper at Port Carlisle and 10 at Sandsfield
